Les Walsh

Les has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry focusing on high-end custom homes and extensive renovation project portfolios, while concurrently managing multiple projects. He began his journey as a hands-on carpenter with a pickup truck; that quickly evolved into a thriving entrepreneurial enterprise. Les currently oversees a team that consists of four project managers, 12 in-house carpenters, and multiple tradespeople. From restorations on 100-year-old dwellings to sophisticated, state-of-the-art Hamptons homes, Les has a vast understanding of the nuances entailed in all types of construction projects.

In his role as Managing Partner, Les fosters an environment of transparency and teamwork. Every project is well thought out, and he ensures that each job is enjoyable for the client and for all members of the Custom Island Homes team. With unsurpassed performance, Les insists that the highest-quality service and expertise are maintained on every job. His strong communication and client-service skills enhance Custom Island Homes’ process-driven management philosophy.

Larry

LAWRENCE CITARELLI

A former finance/economics executive of 14 years, Lawrence possesses over 25 years of success in real estate investment and development experience. We are proud to provide our clientele with comprehensive local and global real estate services, in-depth knowledge, quantifiable savings, value-add solutions, and exceptional quality.

Paula

PAULA WALSH

Paula has more than 20 years of experience working with information technology and customer service, focusing on project accounts management and on the construction industry for the past 18 years.

At Custom Island Homes, she is responsible for implementing and continually improving our Project Accounting. She works closely with our clients, Project Managers, and funding agencies to determine specific needs for relevant project information, delivering this information in a timely and meaningful manner. Paula is responsible for weekly payroll, compiling, and issuing monthly Project Accounting reports, as well as our A/P and A/R.

When Paula is not working to keep her clients content, she enjoys her real job of raising three beautiful children.

Jamie

Jamie Holmes

As a Project Manager for Custom Island Homes, Jamie oversees the construction end of all new construction and renovation projects. He works hands-on with CIH’s subcontractors to schedule and properly manage each job to deliver a quality finish product in a timely fashion.

As a licensed Master Electrician, Jamie oversees, licenses, and manages our Electrical Division. Combined, he has 22 years of experience in the electrical/construction field.

Jon

Jonathan Dulfon

Growing up on the East End of Long Island, Jon truly appreciates his hometown, his community, and the coastal life of both the North and South shores of our island. Jon is also a family man of three beautiful girls who all love enjoying the outdoors and amenities that Long Island offers.

Jon offers over 22 years of experience in the construction field. Under the guidance of his father, who was a master craftsman at only 15 years old, Jon got his start cleaning up job sites for his father’s construction company. Less than a year later, he was working on his family home from start to finish. Over the years, Jon has developed a work ethic that is unparalleled. 

He is a team player and knows that delivering a project in a smooth and timely manner is all about the relationships with all the tradesmen. Managing projects where everyone can work together and facilitating each of the contractors to get the most out of their unique expertise in their specialized fields are his specialties. He takes pride in delivering your next project — completed on time, with integrity and quality!

Brent

Brent Kirmish

As the Lead Estimator and Permit Expediter for Custom Island Homes, Brent works alongside our design team to provide feedback on costing during the design process, as well as acquiring the necessary documentation to start the permit process.

Brent has over 20 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry. He was born into the trade and worked alongside his father, honing his skills while focusing on trim and finishing work. He attended the New York Institute of Technology, studying Architecture and Design. While Brent has a background in architecture, he prefers to be hands-on and facilitate the end result.

Outside of work, Brent enjoys traveling to Europe with his family, SCUBA diving, spending time out on his boat, as well as traveling locally in the family’s RV.

Cam

Cameron Grippaldi

Cameron Grippaldi has more than eight years in the construction industry. He has worked on several projects, from modular homes to high-end Hamptons homes. Cameron enjoys working alongside our in-house carpenters to help get the job done.

At Custom Island Homes, as a laborer, Cameron has added tremendous value to our crews. Currently, he is our all-around guy. He is in the office most days, helping to run our cabinet shop, and he is not afraid of getting his hands dirty and continues to help with the hands-on work. He now helps our media department and assists with paperwork in the office. 

When Cameron is not working, he is spending time with his family and friends.

Tyler

Tyler Garrett

Tyler grew up in the construction industry, before later working for a fortune 500 company for 12 years, honing his skills in hospitality, communication, and customer service. Tyler eventually returned to the construction industry where, for the past seven years, he has assisted with managing multiple projects and working with clients to exceed their expectations at Custom Island Homes.

In his role as Senior Project Manager, Tyler works closely with Les and Larry in meeting with potential clients, as well as continuing to grow the relationship with existing clients through completion of their projects. Tyler also oversees and works with other project managers and employees to execute and exceed clients’ expectations. Encouraging and assisting our staff to continually better themselves in providing a professional and highest quality experience for our clientele are among Tyler’s priorities at Custom Island Homes.
